Middle Eastern cooking teambuilding
Many large companies make use of Team Building as a means of getting their staff to work together better and as a leadership incentive – the end result being an increase in productivity. Retired military officers brought the concept of leadership programs with them into the corporate world, and Team Building was adopted by the large organisations. Wickedfood Cooking School has started a fun way of teambuilding, and one of the modules is Middle Eastern cooking teambuilding. During this exercise your staff are split up into between two and four teams each consisting of between 6 and 12 team members. Each team has to prepare the same six dishes, and in the Middle Eastern cooking teambuilding module the six dishes are selected from:
- Baba ghanoush - aubergine dip, favourite throughout the Middle East.
- Hummous - a dip found on most mezza tables throughout the Middle East.
- H'reesy - a classic Lebanese dish of creamed chicken and wheat.
- Bean stew - French beans with tomato and onion sauce.
- Lebanese rice - rice mixed with vermicelli, delicious with stews.
- Tabbouleh salad - delicious buffet summer salad made with parsley and burghul.
- Baklava - layered pastry with nuts and syrup.
Our Middle Eastern cooking teambuilding exercise is an excellent way for your staff to spend four fun filled hours in which they learn not only how to work as a team, but also how to cook several Middle Eastern dishes. This may be the first attempt at cooking that some of them may have tried. Your staff will remember their Middle Eastern cooking teambuilding exercise and the fun they had taking part in it.
