Cooking teambuilding

It has been officially announced by financiers that the world has entered into a recession period – banks are having to be bailed out, businesses are laying off workers, some are having to close down and unemployment is rampant. It is natural at times such as this that many employees may be feeling a little down in the dumps, disheartened and lethargic. Time for a leadership exercise to get them thinking positive again! Wickedfood® Cooking Schools gas come up with just the thing – cooking teambuilding courses. Never heard of such a thing? Well you probably have heard of TV’s Ready, Steady, Cook. It’s rather like that but with more participants and lasting much longer. A cooking teambuilding class lasts for between three and three and a half hours and is held in either Boksburg or Sunninghill. We can accommodate up to thirty at Boksburg and sixty at Sunninghill.

At the start of the cooking teambuilding class participants are split into groups of between six and twelve participants – some of these may be expert cooks, but there are always some who don’t have a clue. After an introduction in which they are told what six dishes they are each going to cook and how to prepare each of them, the different groups start their cooking teambuilding exercise, cooking against the clock and the other teams. At the end of the exercise the teams are judged and everyone gets to eat what they have cooked. This is a fun leadership exercise, and is always enjoyed by all of the participants – just what a run down team needs to perk up their spirits.
